What did Advanz help you say yes to?

Was it a long-overdue home repair? Your first set of wheels? A road trip to remember?

This is your chance to show how Advanz Credit Union has made a real impact in your life. Maybe it was a loan that brought your dream car home, a savings goal that funded a milestone, or a home equity line that transformed your space. We want to see the real results of your financial wins.

Submit your photo and story for a chance to win up to $100

We’re looking for photos that show how Advanz has helped you move forward, both financially and personally. This isn’t about perfection or posed shots. It’s about your story.

Great Photo Ideas Include:

  • You with your Advanz-financed car, motorcycle, or RV
  • A newly renovated room made possible with a home equity loan
  • A family vacation or celebration funded by a savings or personal loan
  • You standing proudly in front of your Advanz-financed home
  • A symbolic moment celebrating paying off debt

Pair each photo with a short caption that tells us what it means and how Advanz helped.

How to Enter:

  • Step 1: Take a photo that reflects the difference Advanz has made in your life.
  • Step 2: Write a short caption telling us your story.
  • Step 3: Email both to mail@advanzcu.org by July 31, 2025

Prizes

  • 1st Place: $100
  • 2nd Place: $75
  • Fan Favorite: $50, selected by community votes on Facebook

All entries will be featured on our Facebook page as part of the celebration.

OFFICIAL RULES:

  • 2 winners will be selected from a panel of Advanz CU affiliates, one first-place winner ($100 prize) and one runner-up ($75). Non-winners will be uploaded to a Facebook album for users to vote for a "fan favorite" between 8/18/25 - 8/24/25 . Facebook photo contest winner will receive $50. Winners will receive deposits into their savings account.
  • Limit of five (5) photo entries per member.
  • Photo entries should be submitted by email to mail@advanzcu.org. Please include your full name and a short description/testimonial of how Advanz membership has impacted you. Special consideration will be given to photos that include members. Photos must be candid; professionally-taken photos will not be eligible to win. 
  • Photos must not contain explicit content or profanity of any kind; any submission deemed inappropriate by the credit union will immediately be disqualified.
  • Contest starts Saturday, June 1, 2025 and ends Saturday, July 31  at 11:59 p.m. EST.
  • Winners may have to claim winnings for tax purposes. Please consult a tax advisor.
  • Any images submitted may be used for additional Advanz branding, marketing, and advertising purposes for the Credit Union.
  • Only existing members of Advanz in good standing may submit photos for entry and to be considered for final selection.
  • Winners will be contacted on or before 8/15/2025.
  • Important Note: Please take your privacy and other’s into consideration. Do not show items such as your personal/account information or number(s) (example: your credit or debit card account numbers).
  •  All entries must be submitted electronically via an email with attachment(s) to mail@advanzcu.org (should your file size be larger than 10 MB, you can use online file-sharing and sending options such as www.hightail.com to ensure your entry gets to us).
  • Photos must be submitted in a jpeg format. The preferred resolution is 300dpi.
  • Any photos submitted of people under the age of 18 must have a permission statement by a parent or guardian stating they authorize Advanz Credit Union to view and possibly use the image(s). The permission statement must be in writing within a Word document or the body of the email. For example: “I, Joe James, father of Tom James, shown in the picture I’m submitting, allow Advanz Credit Union to view and possibly use his image for branding, marketing and advertising efforts.”
  • Please Note: The Credit Union will never sell or share your photo(s) or stories with any unauthorized outside parties or companies. All photos received will be kept by Advanz. By submitting a photo, you give consent for Advanz to use these in future efforts. This could include posters, media outlets, social media, statement inserts, website ads – among other things.
