With so much going on in our nation, it’s times like these the best comes out in others and we all pull together to come out on the other side stronger, and better than before. Since our doors opened 51 years ago, we have been there for our members with the mission to provide quality financial services, in a personal way that exceeds our members’ needs. Now, more than ever, we are there for our members and the communities we serve in good times, and in bad. To do this in the best way possible, we came to realize that in order to maintain a strong, viable presence within the communities we serve, we needed to take a look at a variety of factors surrounding the products and services we offer, our technological capabilities, and our overall perception among those that think they are unable to belong to the Credit Union, but could benefit from our services.
Several months ago, well before the current situation surrounding the coronavirus, our Board of Directors and Executive Team, with careful consideration, determined that the Credit Union could greatly benefit from a restructure of our identity which would include a name change. In doing so, our priority has always been to continue to promise our members that we will provide the same great products and personalized service they’ve come to expect and depend on, helping them achieve their goals throughout their life, and the lives of their family.
So, it is with all these things in mind that we made the decision that Jefferson County Federal Credit Union would officially be renamed Advanz Credit Union – along with a new member promise of We’ve Got You Covered A to Z. We believe this name better exemplifies who we are as a credit union and the level of service our members have come to expect and appreciate.
This name change does not mean we’ve been merged in with another credit union, or that we are changing locations or our staff. We are still the same great credit union with the team our members have come to know – working alongside them to help support their and their family’s financial well-being. Additionally, we are not changing account numbers, our routing number, or our online banking or bill pay – these will all remain the same.
We look forward to continuing to help our members' and their families Advanz in their life’s dreams and goals no matter what the days, weeks, months and years ahead may be.
