Carl Rixman & Carl Hicks Memorial Scholarships

Now Accepting Applications

Advanz Credit Union is committed to helping our college-bound members with the rising cost of a college education. We will award two (2) scholarships. Each scholarship winner will receive $1,000 to pay for tuition, room & board, books, or other related educational expenses.

Scholarship Criteria

• Graduating high school senior
• Sealed high school transcript with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Member of Advanz Credit Union with at least a share/savings account in goodstanding. (Being joint on another member’s account does not qualify)
• Enrolled full time at an accredited two- or four-year college/university in Kentucky or Indiana for fall 2021
• Composition of a one-page, typed, single-spaced essay on “What digital products are a must for you when looking at a financial institution and why”?
• Submit a completed typed application to Advanz Credit Union that is postmarked by Friday, April 9, 2021.

Note: Advanz Credit Union employees, Board Members, Committee Members and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.

Application Deadline: Friday, April 9, 2021

Scholarship winners will be announced by the end of May. The check will be made out to both the student and the student’s school upon receipt of final transcript, acceptance letter, and an invoice from the college/university.
